Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
-
Is EnrollMyGroup Licensed?
Yes EMG is fully licenseed to sell and administer insurance programs. Our company is committed to working with channel partners including insurance brokers, insurance consultants, carriers and third party administrators. As we have seen with many enrollment companies of late that fail to be properly licensed they get into trouble. It is not our intent to go direct to the employer however it is our intent to follow the law and be protected as a company.
-
Are there any upfront costs to sign up with EMG?
No - Enroll My Group, EMG, does not charge clients an implementation fee up front. We do price our services on a PEPM fee schedule. If you are a broker and want to use our system and private label our technology to be your own there may be a cost associated with doing so, however, that would be determined on a case by case basis. Please call our sales team to discuss.
-
What happens if there is a broker of record change in the middle of the contract?
Our contracts are with the clients directly, unless otherwise stated, and as such the broker would be removed from administering the plan. The intent is to protect the client from changing markets. If the account is under a private labeled broker account a new contract would have to be initiated in order for the client to stay on our system.
-
Will EMG aggregate lives for a broker to provide lower cost PEPM?
Yes - we will provide volume discounts based on the number of lives you have on our system. The more you write the more you save, thus the more your clients can save.
-
Does EMG collect commission?
Usually, no. However should the broker or the client want to offset the expense of administering the plan on our system we can cost share compensation on voluntary benefits or any other line item commission the broker or client wishes. We are not in competition with the broker rather here to support the brokerage community to be more competitive within the marketplace.
-
If we currently work with another vendor could you transfer the data to your system?
Yes we would simply extract the data from the current vendor and duplicate it on our system.

What makes EMG different?
Our true differentiator is our seamless technology between our enrollment system and our ACA reporting capabilities. Currently in todays market clients need two separate systems our in integrated into one seamless system. Furthermore EMG is the first Enrollment company to take the standard web based application and extend this to an app based system as well. We have heard many times from employers a system like this would be great however our employees don’t have access to a computer. (manufacturing, distribution, government workers, unions, shop workers to name a few) Having both the web based version for those who have access to a computer and the applications for smart phones and tablets allows those in the field or the floor to have the same access as those at the desk. We have done all this while keeping our costs competitive with the market.
